A bit about us: We’re a loving, vegetarian family of 3 looking for a nanny to join our family long-term! We’re active, invested parents. We work hard and play hard! My husband speaks French and English, and our in-laws also speak French when they visit so our daughter will likely learn both languages. I see our nanny as the most important person in our lives, because you are caring for the most precious person in our lives, our child.
Our daughter is a strong-willed 2-year-old. You know the type! She’s fun, engaging, and sometimes bossy. She is a big music lover! She loves art projects, singing and dancing, and cooking. She also loves playing with water, reading, running, and going down slides!
A bit about you: You are a caring, loving, and patient nanny. You’re great at navigating toddler tantrums, remaining firm with rules and boundaries, and will help teach our daughter kindness and human skills such as sharing and compromising. You’re active and have lots of energy. You are proactive and invested in our child’s growth, our family’s well-being, and you love what you do!
Job Duties: All-child related care including assisting with feeding meals, meal prep, diaper changes, potty training, providing a variety of play-based activities, nap routine, redirecting, teaching manners and life skills, communicating with parents, preschool pick-ups, driving our child to the park and other activities in your vehicle, light cleaning and children’s dishes, children’s laundry, changing our child’s sheets, picking up toys, organizing playroom, tidying up after meals and crafts, loading/unloading dishwasher, keeping a running list of items we need to restock, running errands, and picking up items as needed. Additional household tasks and hours are available for candidates who wish to take on a Household Manager/Nanny role.

Qualifications: 1-2 years of childcare experience with toddlers, some potty training experience, child CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to get), clean driving record, reliable vehicle and willing to transport our child, strong driving skills, valid Driver’s License, basic cooking skills, can be flexible with the schedule within reason, able to read/write/speak basic English, and are able to follow a structured routine.
Set yourself apart: In addition to speaking/writing basic English (does not have to be fluent in English), you also speak French! You also have some infant experience in case our family grows in the future, and/or Household Manager experience (in which case, more hours would be available if desired).
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30a-6/6:30p) *Schedule is a combo of 8:30a-5:30p and 12-6/6:30p 40 hours a week Starts ASAP!
Pay: $30-$34 an hour
