Full-Time Nanny/House Manager in South Park for a Family with Two Children Ages 7 and 4 Years Old

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the SouthPark neighborhood of Charlotte in finding an experienced, dependable, and proactive Full-Time Nanny/House Manager for their two daughters, ages 7 and 4 years old.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, with 30 guaranteed hours per week. The family is seeking someone who can offer occasional flexibility to accommodate schedule changes and weekend needs as they arise.

The ideal candidate will be organized, resourceful, and able to anticipate the family’s needs. This position combines engaging, age-appropriate childcare with household management responsibilities. A key component of the role is safely and reliably transporting the children to and from school and extracurricular activities.

Nanny Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging, and age-appropriate care for both children.

• Safely transport the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and other scheduled commitments.

• Encourage physical activity, creativity, hands-on learning, and limited screen time.

• Assist with homework, school projects, reading, and other age-appropriate educational activities.

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

• Help the children stay organized with their belongings, school materials, and daily routines.

• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for the children.

House Manager Responsibilities

(The family will provide a vehicle for work-related driving, including transporting the children and completing errands associated with the position.)

• The family also has a recurring cleaning service, so will just need tidying up around the house, no deep cleaning.

• Manage family laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing.

• Prepare meals and snacks for the children and assist with meal preparation as requested.

• Maintain a tidy kitchen and clean up after meals.

• Perform general household organization, keeping common areas and the children’s spaces orderly.

• Complete grocery shopping and help keep household essentials stocked.

• Handle mail runs and other errands related to the family’s needs.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional nanny experience.

• Experience caring for multiple children; experience with school-age children is preferred.

• Previous nanny/house manager experience is a plus.

• A safe and responsible driving record, with experience transporting children.

• A professional resume and at least three professional references.

• Completion of Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency’s online application and prescreening interview.

• Ability to pass a national background check, including a driving record check.

• A valid driver’s license and safe, reliable transportation for commuting to work.

• CPR and First Aid certified.

• Non-smoking and non-vaping.

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Up to date on childhood vaccinations; COVID-19 vaccination is preferred.

Start date, Salary, and Benefits

• Legal pay is offered at $26 - $30 per hour

• Continued pay while the family is away (Paid at 30 hours per week)
