Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Vascular Medicine


SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 40 Hours per Week
- No Nights
- No Weekends
- No Holidays
- No On-Call


COMPENSATION:
- $150,000+ Base Salary, negotiable depending on experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice opened in 2015 and offers vein disease services in an upscale, boutique setting focused on excellent patient experiences.  Being privately owned by physicians, their offices offer providers the day-to-day comfort and autonomy of working in small private practice settings, while receiving the support of a multi-site, regional organization.  They currently operate more than 30 offices in 4 states, boasting a staff of approximately 40 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, who are supported by talented administrative and clinical team members.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The practice is a vein treatment organization that offers a boutique environment focused on excellent patient experiences.  Their offices are staffed with physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, medical assistants, sonographers, and administrative personnel.  

Providers see an average of 18 to 24 patients per day with the support of a clinical assistant.  

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- new patient consultations
- follow-up visits
- cosmetic sclerotherapy
- collaborating with physicians, sonographers, and other team members

The practice sees patients for, among other conditions:

- varicose veins
- leg swelling / heaviness
- spider veins
- restless leg syndrome
- venous insufficiency

The practice uses the NextTech EHR.


REQUIREMENTS:
- active NP or PA license
- prescriptive authority
- 2+ years advanced practice experience
- experience in vascular medicine or a related field preferred
- excellent bedside manner
