Full-Time Pack Member (Dog Walker + Daycare Assistant)

At Four-Legged Fun Zone, part of Tailored Pet Services, we turn barking into bonding, chaos into playgroups, and good dogs into tired dogs. This is a hybrid role—part solo dog walker, part daycare wrangler—perfect for someone who gets dogs, gets stuff done, and doesn’t flinch when the barking hits full volume.

 A Day in the Life

• Start your shift with tail-wagging greetings from pups who act like you’ve been gone forever (it’s been 24 hours).
• Head out to walk your regulars—Goldens who strut, Chihuahuas who sass, and Beagles who follow their noses (and nothing else).
• Unbothered by poop, fur, or drool? Perfect—you’re one of us.
• Return to daycare and get mobbed like a rock star—dogs will throw their whole body at you.
• Help rotate pups between indoors and outdoors. Think: lifeguard meets playground monitor meets cheerleader.
• Break up drama with a quick “ah-ah” and your best body-block move.
• Capture quick photos for the ‘rents and jot down a quick report card about playmates, naps, and how many times someone peed on the toy bin.
• Drive. Walk. Scoop. Play. Tidy. Repeat.
• End your day a little dirty, a lot appreciated, and possibly covered in drool.

• You’ve never worked solo or followed a checklist without reminders
• You treat jobs like limited-time offers (we’re looking for 12+ months)
• Your car is more “vibes” than reliable (you’ll need a valid license, insurance, and functioning vehicle)
• Rain or snow = canceling plans (our clients still need care)
• You think “standing for 8 hours” means with breaks and chairs (spoiler: nope)
• You panic when dogs bark or misread play growls as fights
• You’re under 18 or live more than 15 minutes from McCollum Park
