Requirements:
- All state licensure and certifications required for Physical Therapist practice in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a related setting is preferred.
Job Description: The Physical Therapist will work within a special education setting, providing essential services to students with diverse needs. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, mobility, and functional abilities.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve students' physical functioning and independence.
- Providing direct physical therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Utilizing assistive devices and adaptive equipment to support students' access and participation in educational activities.
