Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant- Home Health

Our client is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant in Kyle, TX and surrounding areas! If you have experience in a home health setting and are open to working as a contractor, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!

This role is located in Kyle, Buda, and San Marcos, TX, and offers PTO, health benefits, and mileage!

• Providing excellent health care for our patients. Patients should achieve good outcomes and be happy with their physical therapy experience.
• Treating patients, answering their concerns, and educating them on their injury, progress, and probable outcomes.
• Supervising aides when providing modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients and their general setup and clean-up duties.
• Re-evaluating patient progress, revising plans of care, and resetting goals
• Determining when to discharge patients.
• Writing timely and accurate documentation, including discharges and daily progress notes.
• Achieving a reasonable level of productivity. 
• Helping to develop protocols for the most common diagnoses we see.
• Participating the research studies supported by the clinic.
• Responsible for continuing to develop their own skills by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses.

• Licensure: Active, state license or a multi-state license issued by a Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure Compact (PTLC) member state.
• Experience: 1-year of experience as a physical therapy assistant in an acute care, rehabilitation, or home health setting preferred.
• Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR certification. Knowledge of durable medical equipment.
• EMR: Kinnser experience a plus
