OPEN POSITION: 
Physical Therapy Assistant


SCHEDULE: 
- Full-Time
- 40 Hours per Week
- 4-Day and 5-Day Options
- No Nights
- No Weekends
- Negotiable on Exact Daily Schedule


COMPENSATION: 
- $45,000 to $60,000 Base Salary, negotiable depending on experience

This top-rated physical therapy organization has been improving the lives of patients in the greater Prescott area for more than 20 years.  Their comprehensive services focus on, among other areas, orthopedics, joint pain, post-op recovery, spinal injuries, sports injuries, sports performance, prevention, and wellness.  Their large, state-of-the-art facilities house a wellness center, aquatic therapy pool, exercise classrooms, and more.  They are owned by physical therapists and are hiring due to growth. 


POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
Physical therapy assistants (PTAs) assist the physical therapists (PTs) in the provision of patient care.  PTAs support an average of 12 appointments per day or 60 appointments per week.

Therapy services include, but are not limited to:


- manual therapy
- exercise prescription
- dry needling
- kinesiotaping
- aquatic therapy
- SASTM
- vertigo treatment

Duties of the PTA role include, but are not limited to:

- perform select physical therapy interventions under the direction of a PT
- assist in all aspects of appropriate clinical services
- make approved modifications to interventions to progress the client
- make approved modifications to interventions to ensure client safety and comfort
- adjust to the use of new methods and techniques when introduced
- coordinate care with supervising PTs and technicians

The practice uses the Raintree EHR.


REQUIREMENTS:
- completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Arizona PTA license
- no experience necessary
- new graduates are welcome to apply
