- $300,000+ Starting Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience
- $25,000+ Sign-On Bonus (negotiable)

Serving the local community since 1929, this regional healthcare system is dedicated to providing full service primary care, specialty, inpatient, and outpatient services to the local community.  Their offerings include, among others, pulmonology, endocrinology, rheumatology, anesthesiology, oncology, pediatrics, urology, carology, internal medicine, and family medicine.  This is a very stable, thriving healthcare system with a CEO who’s been at the helm for more than 30 years.  All providers are employees of the system.    


POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
The new physician will work in general endocrinology in a clinic setting, being supported by a physician assistant.

The average number of patients per day varies, depending upon patient needs and physician preference.  

The volume is kept at an appropriate level to ensure proper patient care and the practice is happy to collaborate with the physician to determine visit lengths and daily volume.

Physicians work with dedicated assistants who room and prep patient visits, as well as assist during visits as needed.

The practice has extensive resources available, including an EHR and robust administrative support.



REQUIREMENTS:
- Louisiana medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Endocrinology
