Title: Clinical Behavioral Therapist 

Reports to: Director of Telehealth 

Department/Location: Remote in Colorado 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

Requirements and Schedule:

  Licensure: Must be independently licensed as a therapist in the state of Colorado (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).

  Schedule: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). The Therapist will facilitate group therapy and conduct individual (1:1) sessions as part of our Colorado VIOP program, and will also support the Intake department by completing biopsychosocial assessments. VIOP group sessions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There is flexibility in scheduling 1:1 sessions and administrative time outside of those group days/times. 

  
  

Role Summary:  

Therapists are responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will facilitate 1:1 and group therapy, develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions.  

Role Responsibilities: 

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs.  

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.  

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.  

• Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans, as necessary.  

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care.  

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.  

• Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issues.  

• Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.  

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.  

Required Qualifications: 

• A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.  

• Valid Colorado independent licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent.  

• Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.  

• Experience providing group therapy  

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

 Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience facilitating group therapy in a IOP/PHP/RES/IP setting.
