Full-Time Security Officer/ 2Nd Shift/$16Hr

About Community Watch Solutions: Community Watch Solutions LLC provides professional security officers and patrol services for high-end gated communities and golf course communities. We are currently seeking a competent Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for access control, patrolling the property, and dealing with any security-related incidents. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of observation skills, inspire respect and authority, and be well-trained in access control and handling perpetrators.

Patrol Officer: Patrol Officers are responsible for monitoring the premises to prevent theft, violence, enforce homeowner’s association and county noise ordinance rules. Officers are required to complete detail reports. Patrol and report writing experience is preferred.

Gate Officer: Security Officers are responsible for verifying identification and validating authorization of any person requesting access to the property. Duties also include monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are granted entry

- Conduct regular patrols of the property, identifying and addressing potential security risks

- Respond to and manage security incidents, including dealing with perpetrators in a professional and effective manner

- Maintain a high level of observation and vigilance to ensure the safety and security of staff and visitors

- Collaborate with management and other staff members to maintain a safe and secure working environment

- Prepare and submit detailed reports on any security incidents or breaches

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security protocols and best practices

Qualifications: Experience managing a busy guard gate is required. Officers must be assertive and able to respectfully enforce the HOA rules. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are also required. Officers are required to perform all duties in a professional and lawful manner.

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security:1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Class D Security (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role

- Knowledge of security protocols, access control systems, and relevant technology

- Strong observational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to inspire respect and authority, and to handle potentially dangerous situations calmly and effectively

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A high level of physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly to incidents

- Valid security guard license or certification, as required by local regulations
