Full-Time Special Needs Personal Assistant– Argyle, TX 

A family in Argyle, TX 76226 is seeking an experienced and compassionate special needs personal assistant for their 6 year old, starting August 19th. Beginning with the new school year, this child needs a personal assistant to support them both at home and at school. 

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday


• 8am-4pm

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home


• Pet-free home


• Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Diaper changes


• Assistance during mealtimes


• Grooming support


• School-based assistance throughout the day


• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Experience caring for individuals with complex care needs


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation


• CPR and First Aid certified

Compensation:

• $20–$23 per hour, paid for by Medicaid


• Support person will be hired through Texas’ Medicaid Waiver program as they are the funding source for this position. 


• A Background Check will be required through Medicaid
