Full-Time Teller (Independence)

Our tellers have direct opportunities to build member relationships, fulfill our members' financial needs, and contribute to the growth of the Credit Union.

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and the ability to build relationships by exceeding expectations.


• Service-driven attitude recognizing needs and cross-marketing complementary credit union products and after-market services.


• Problem solver with the ability to look outside the box while maintaining sound judgment.


• Flexibility in schedule and location to ensure the needs of our members are being met.   

The main duties:

• Embrace PSCU’s culture, service standards, mission statement, and values.


• Provide outstanding service during each member interaction, including but not limited to handling teller transactions, determining members’ needs, and cross-selling appropriate products.


• Providing backup to other departments as needed.

 The ‘must-have’ list:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.


• Ability to work independently, prioritize work, exercise initiative, and meet deadlines.


• Eligible to be a notary public.


• Must have reliable transportation with the ability to travel between any PSCU branch locations.

The wish list:

• Cash handling experience.


• Previous financial institution experience.

• Credit Union Hours – M-F 8:45 am – 5:15 pm; Sat 8:45 am – 1:15 pm.


• Status: Full Time (40 hours per week), Non-Exempt
