COMPANY PROFILE: 
This multi-site private practice has been serving patients in the greater Phoenix area since 2008.  Their services include, but are not limited to, female urology, robotic surgery, male infertility, and much more.  They operate 3 offices with a staff of 3 physicians, 5 advanced practice providers, and many support team members.  They are hiring due to growth.



POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
The practice has three offices in the greater Phoenix area and the new physician may choose to practice at any or all locations.

The average number of patients per day varies by need and physician preference.  Typically, physicians work with the support of a partnered APP.  Visits are scheduled based on the estimated length of time needed to ensure optimal attention for each patient.

Patients are adult and geriatric.  Typical duties of the role include:

- examine patients and assess their medical conditions
- diagnose disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues
- treat disorders related to the reproductive organs, urinary tract, bladder, and kidneys
- monitor disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues
- perform procedures and treatments using appropriate methods
- prescribe medications as needed
- refer patients to other specialists when necessary

Physicians work with clinical assistants who room and prep patients, as well as assist during the visits as needed.

The practice utilizes the Athena EHR.

On-call duties are every 4th week, including weekends.  On the weekends, the APPs are in the first position to cover call (including rounds), only contacting the physician if something needs to be escalated.  During the week, APPs cover call from 8:00am to 5:00pm and physicians are responsible for overnight coverage.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Urology
- no experience required
