Position Overview

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) at ECC, you bring a systems-based lens to healing—supporting clients not only as individuals, but as part of the interconnected web of relationships and environments that shape their lives. Your expertise in relational dynamics, attachment, and family systems is essential to our mission of creating safe spaces for deep and lasting transformation.

This role is ideal for therapists who are passionate about couples and family work, relational healing, and integrative, collaborative approaches to care. You will be part of a connected, engaged team that values dialogue, shared learning, and genuine professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, with a strong focus on relational dynamics, family systems, and systemic patterns


• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and relational assessments and collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans


• Support clients in strengthening communication, resolving conflict, navigating life transitions, and fostering healthier relationships


• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards


• Participate in weekly case consultation and monthly team meetings designed to support clinical quality, growth, and connection


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, and integrative practitioners, as appropriate


• Adhere to Washington State LMFT licensure requirements, professional ethics, and scope of practice


• Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and licensure maintenance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field


• Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State


• Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience preferred (but not required)


• Demonstrated experience working with couples and family systems through a relational or systemic lens


• Proficiency with DSM-V or ICD-11 diagnostic frameworks


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Experience working with diverse populations


• Proficiency in EHR systems


• Ability to transition an existing caseload or openness to building a sustainable caseload within a group practice setting


• Ability to provide telehealth services (preferred)
