Job Location: New Jersey (Telemedicine).
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay Range: $140/hr - $150/hr for telemedicine.

(Must be licensed in New Jersey, which is a participating state in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)).

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Bilingual Haitian Creole Speaking Physician to provide diabetes management program via telemedicine for private businesses located in the state of New Jersey. The Physician will work directly with pre-diabetic or early-stage diabetes patients on a multi-week program to help improve their wellness and lifestyle. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide diabetes management program to patients based on our program guideline.
  
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns especially around diabetes.
• Educate patients around healthy eating and lifestyle.
• Educate patients around glucose monitoring.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree.
• Clean active license to practice in the state of New Jersey. Compact license or multiple state license strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
• Board certification in specialty.
• Must be Bilingual Haitian Creole Speaking.
  
• Background in preventive care and endocrinology.
  
• Experience with diabetes management.
• Focused on preventive medicine and patient education.
• Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
