Job Location: Princeton, NJ (Telemedicine).
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay Range: $140/hr- $150/hr for telemedicine.

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Physician to provide diabetes management programs to private businesses in New Jersey via telemedicine. The Physician will work directly with pre-diabetic or early-stage diabetes patients on a multi-week program to help improve their wellness and lifestyle. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide diabetes management program to patients based on our program guideline.
  
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns especially around diabetes.
• Educate patients around healthy eating and lifestyle.
• Educate patients around glucose monitoring.

Requirements:

• MD or DO Degree.
• Must have current NJ license. Compact license or multiple state license strongly preferred (New Jersey is a participating state in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)).
• Board certification in specialty.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
  
• Must be Bilingual Haitian Creole Speaking.
  
• Background in family practice and preventive care preferred.
• Background in urgent care or emergency care will be considered.
• Experience with diabetes management.
• Focused on preventive medicine and patient education.
• Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Personal laptop or tablet required.
