Job Description - Functional Lead for Facility Management




Role Overview: The Facility Management Lead oversees facility operations, maintenance, repair, and asset management, ensuring operational readiness across multiple sites, with a focus on infrastructure efficiency and compliance.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead maintenance and repair coordination, preparing reports on project status, costs, logistics, and completion metrics. 

  • Support facility operations planning, including trending and analysis for budget allocation and execution strategies. 

  • Manage facility data, ensuring accurate documentation of deficiencies, contracts, and systems in asset management platforms. 

  • Oversee asset management, tracking inventory, updating records, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. 

  • Conduct quality assurance audits and develop repair solutions, coordinating with operational teams and external partners. 

  • Ensure permits, warranties, and equipment documentation are maintained, supporting facility readiness and compliance. 

  • Monitor environmental and maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance, or infrastructure management. 

  • Proven expertise in facility management, achieving 98% uptime in large-scale infrastructure projects. 

  • OSHA 10-hour training preferred; familiarity with safety and compliance standards. 

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in asset management systems and quality assurance processes. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.

Relevant Experience: 

  • Managed facility operations for a contract across 10 sites, achieving 98% uptime and reducing maintenance costs by 12% through optimized planning. 

  • Coordinated maintenance and repair for a $30M infrastructure portfolio, delivering monthly status reports with 95% accuracy. 

  • Maintained asset records for 200+ facilities, ensuring 100% compliance with inventory tracking and documentation standards. 

  • Conducted quality assurance audits, identifying and resolving 50+ facility deficiencies, improving operational readiness by 15%. 

  • Developed repair solutions for critical infrastructure, coordinating with external partners to meet project deadlines 90% of the time.
