Job Description - Functional Lead for Facility Management

Role Overview: The Facility Management Lead oversees facility operations, maintenance, repair, and asset management, ensuring operational readiness across multiple sites, with a focus on infrastructure efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead maintenance and repair coordination, preparing reports on project status, costs, logistics, and completion metrics.

Support facility operations planning, including trending and analysis for budget allocation and execution strategies.

Manage facility data, ensuring accurate documentation of deficiencies, contracts, and systems in asset management platforms.

Oversee asset management, tracking inventory, updating records, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.

Conduct quality assurance audits and develop repair solutions, coordinating with operational teams and external partners.

Ensure permits, warranties, and equipment documentation are maintained, supporting facility readiness and compliance.

Monitor environmental and maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance, or infrastructure management.

Proven expertise in facility management, achieving 98% uptime in large-scale infrastructure projects.

OSHA 10-hour training preferred; familiarity with safety and compliance standards.

Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in asset management systems and quality assurance processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.

Relevant Experience:

Managed facility operations for a contract across 10 sites, achieving 98% uptime and reducing maintenance costs by 12% through optimized planning.

Coordinated maintenance and repair for a $30M infrastructure portfolio, delivering monthly status reports with 95% accuracy.

Maintained asset records for 200+ facilities, ensuring 100% compliance with inventory tracking and documentation standards.

Conducted quality assurance audits, identifying and resolving 50+ facility deficiencies, improving operational readiness by 15%.

Developed repair solutions for critical infrastructure, coordinating with external partners to meet project deadlines 90% of the time.
