Responsibilities

• Define

  • We establish and execute the functional safety roadmap, aligned with the company’s visions and goals. Especially ensuring compliance with standards.

• Lead

  • Oversee the development of functional safety concepts and designs, supporting the team in their practical application of the automotive systems.

• Collaborate

  • Work cross-functionally with hardware, software, and system engineering teams to integrate safety principles throughout the product lifecycle.

• Verify

  • Lead audits, safety assessments, and reviews to verify compliance with functional safety standards.

• Innovate

  • Proactively identify and address emerging challenges in automotive safety, such as incorporating cutting-edge research and technologies into practical functional safety processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Strong background in vehicle systems design, automotive networks, and electrical engineering.

• Engineering in a safety critical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in conducting failure analysis and hazard analysis for automotive for industrial systems.

• Developing safety processes for automotive safety standards.

• ISO26262 Certification or equivalent safety standard in adjacent fields (e.g., medical, aerospace).

• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and standards (e.g., ISO 14229, ISO 13400).Experience in developing test and verification software.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality processes for production systems.

• Enjoyment in discovering and solving new problems in automotive.
