Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Note:

Candidates must have 3+ years of directly relevant fund accounting or fund administration experience and prior supervisory or management experience, including responsibility for at least one team member.

Job Description

  • Own fund accounting and reporting across multiple investment vehicles and client relationships.
  • Manage complex allocations, capital activity, waterfalls, and investor capital accounts.
  • Interpret LPAs, side letters, and unique investment terms and translate them into accurate calculations and reporting.
  • Perform and review fund-to-GP reconciliations, intercompany balances, and related accounting activity.
  • Prepare quarterly capital account statements and support annual financial statement preparation.
  • Coordinate closely with external auditors and support year-end audit processes.
  • Review team members' work, provide guidance, and help strengthen accounting processes and controls.
  • Communicate directly and professionally with GPs, investment teams, and institutional investors.
  • Manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
  • Use advanced Excel and modern technology, including AI-enabled tools and workflows, to improve efficiency and insight.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of fund accounting or fund administration experience.
  • Experience within private equity, real estate, venture capital, credit, or similar private investment structures.
  • Prior experience supervising or managing at least one team member.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, capital accounts, allocations, waterfalls, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience interpreting LPAs, side letters, and complex deal terms.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong client-facing communication and organizational skills.
  • CPA or active progress toward CPA licensure preferred.
  • Interest in learning and applying AI and automation tools within accounting workflows.
