Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Location: Hybrid opportunity based in either Fayetteville, Arkansas or Little Rock, Arkansas, combining in-office collaboration with flexibility.

Note: Candidates must have 5+ years of accounting experience with direct hands-on experience in capital calls, distributions, tax preparation or tax returns, and audits. Candidates must also be able to work hybrid from either the Fayetteville or Little Rock office.

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day financial activities for multiple investment funds and related entities.
• Coordinate with outsourced fund administrators to ensure capital calls, distributions, fee calculations, NAV reporting, and investor capital statements are completed accurately and on time.
• Review monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and support accurate Limited Partner and co-investor reporting.
• Assist with account reconciliations, transaction research, invoice coding, and financial data management.
• Partner with the investment team on fund modeling, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Help manage treasury activities, cash positions, and loan covenant compliance.
• Coordinate annual audits, manage PBC requests, support audit confirmations, and assist with financial statement disclosures.
• Gather financial information for tax returns and review tax filings and K-1s prepared by outside accountants.
• Support regulatory filings, compliance deadlines, financial documentation, and related reporting requirements.
• Maintain strong communication with fund administrators, accountants, auditors, investors, and internal leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Direct experience with capital calls and fund distributions.
• Tax preparation or tax return experience.
• Audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with Microsoft 365.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
• Private investment fund, private equity, real estate fund, or alternative investment accounting experience strongly preferred.
