Position Overview

We are seeking a Funding Specialist to guide clients and clinicians through the insurance funding process for our devices. This role involves coordinating insurance eligibility, securing authorizations, and ensuring smooth claim submissions while delivering outstanding support to families and healthcare partners.

Key Responsibilities

· Enter and maintain accurate client data in our systems.

· Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.

· Review client records for completeness and accuracy.

· Obtain prior authorizations/precertifications for services.

· Submit professional claims and resolve claim rejections/denials promptly.

· Use problem-solving and critical thinking to manage claims processes.

· Communicate with clients and clinicians via phone and email.

· Provide administrative support to the team.

· Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Proficiency with computers; CRM software experience (ACT! CRM a plus).

Preferred:

· Knowledge of medical terminology.

· Experience with insurance verification, claims submission, or healthcare funding processes.
