Furnace Millwright

Job description

We are looking for a Maintenance Millwright

Qualifications

Ability to repair damaged threads

Ability to use torque wrench

Welding (Tig/Mig/Stick)

Ability to use torch/plasma/air arc cutter

Ability to track conveyor belts

Ability to track bucket elevators

Ability to replace any type of bearing (hanger, pillow block, flange mount, etc)

Conveyor system experience (belts, vibratory, indexer)

Heavy equipment operator

Ability to replace and diagnose gearbox failures

Ability to use a lathe, mill, brake, shear, roll former, & other workshop equipment

Ability to drill and tap a hole

Ability to remove sheared off bolts

Ability to use torque multiplier Ability to replace and align belts and pulleys

Ability to fabricate to provided prints

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Millwright or similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing various equipment
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
