Furniture Assembler

At Freeman Boatworks, we don’t just build boats—we craft elite offshore machines known for performance, precision, and unmatched quality. We’re looking for a Furniture Assembler to join our production team.

What You’ll Do:

· Assemble and install marine components with a focus on durability, fit, and finish

· Read and interpret detailed assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications

· Use hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills, ratchets) to fasten parts and hardware

· Verify that alignment, fit, and finish meet Freeman’s high-quality standards

· Perform minor trimming, drilling, and adjustments to ensure proper installation

· Move and stage components for the next phase of the production cycle

· Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow all company safety, environmental, and quality protocols

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience in furniture assembly, cabinetry, carpentry, construction, or similar hands-on work preferred

· Basic understanding of boat construction principles and techniques is a plus!

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship

· Familiarity with basic tools and measuring devices (tape measure, square, etc.)

· Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a non-climate-controlled environment

· Must be comfortable working around heat, cold, dust, fumes, and occasional outdoor weather exposure

· Team player with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn

· Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment
