Furniture Service Coordinator

Responsibilities

Furniture Service (2/3 of your time)

• Furniture customer service: 
  • Document customer complaints, provide warranty information, assign technician, collects service fees, and pursue other appropriate action.
  • Schedule furniture service  appointments with customers and organize technician’s schedule.
• Furniture Claims: 
  • Apply for credit from manufacturers for defective products and the labor necessary for repair
• Order Service Parts: 
  • Coordinate with service technician to order correct parts for repairs, track order status and delivery of parts, receive parts, and maintain communication with customer.

General Office Support (1/3 of your time)

• Answer incoming internal and external phone calls 
• Wait on customers at window
• Assist other office staff with ordering and scheduling furniture and flooring customers.
• Assist sales staff as needed
• Shared accounting duties: 
  • Taking and posting payments
  • Processing credit applications 
  • Performing daily audit

• Able to resolve issues in ways  that benefit customers and the company
• Comfortable multitasking and staying organized
• Basic computer and phone skills; comfort with numbers is a plus for the accounting side
• Office experience preferred.      
• Experience with customer service and handling warranties is desired.
