Location: Shadydale Elementary \n\nDepartment: Shadydale ES \n\nArea:North \n\nContract Months:10 \n\nSalary Range: $56,250.00 \u2013 $71,250.00 \n\nAcademic Year: 26-27 \n\n## JOB SUMMARY\n\nThe Future 2 Coordinator 1 plays a critical role in supporting the implementation of the Future 2 model through effective planning, coordination, and execution of program logistics. This position is responsible for ensuring that all operational components of the Future 2 program including scheduling, experiential learning coordination, transportation, materials, and compliance are executed with precision. \n \nThe Future 2 Coordinator 1 supports a school model that includes flexible student schedules, extended-day programming, and frequent off-campus learning experiences. This role ensures that systems and structures are in place so that instructional staff can focus on delivering high-quality learning experiences. \n \nThe Future 2 Coordinator 1 collaborates closely with administrators, teachers, staff, families, and community partners to ensure all logistical aspects of the program are aligned, organized, and effectively executed.\n\n## MAJOR DUTIES \u0026 RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nList most important duties first \n1\\. Develop, manage, and maintain student and staff schedules aligned to the Future 2 model. \n2\\. Coordinate and maintain calendars for seminars, experiences, and instructional programming. \n3\\. Assign and align teachers to seminars and experiential learning opportunities based on program needs. \n4\\. Plan and coordinate all field trips, travel experiences, and off-campus learning opportunities. \n5\\. Manage logistics for all experiences including transportation, permissions, vendors, and required documentation. \n6\\. Ensure all materials, supplies, and resources are prepared and available for scheduled programming. \n7\\. Track, process, and maintain records for invoices, payments, and program-related expenses. \n8\\. Ensure all student forms, permissions, and compliance documentation are collected, organized, and maintained. \n9\\. Build and maintain systems for tracking schedules, logistics, and program operations using digital tools and spreadsheets. \n10\\. Communicate regularly with administrators, teachers, families, and partners regarding schedules and logistics.\n\n## MAJOR DUTIES \u0026 RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED\n\n11\\. Monitor implementation of schedules and make adjustments to address conflicts or changes. \n12\\. Support coordination and execution of extended-day and non-traditional programming. \n13\\. Collaborate with campus leadership to ensure alignment with Future 2 program goals and priorities. \n14\\. Identify logistical challenges and implement solutions to ensure smooth program execution. \n15\\. Maintain accurate and organized records related to scheduling, events, vendors, and operations. \n16\\. Other duties as assigned. \n\n## EDUCATION\n\nBachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.\n\n## WORK EXPERIENCE\n\n2\u20135 years of experience in logistics, operations, scheduling, project coordination, or related field preferred. \nExperience coordinating complex schedules or events strongly preferred.\n\n## SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION\n\nNo teacher certification required. \nStrong organizational and project management skills. \nProficiency in spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and digital platforms. \nStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\n## LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nNo direct supervisory responsibilities. May provide coordination and operational support to campus staff related to Future 2 implementation.\n\n## WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT\n\nWork requires frequent independent judgment in planning, scheduling, and logistics coordination. General supervision is provided, with high expectations for accuracy, organization, and operational effectiveness. Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to manage complex systems within a non-traditional school model.\n\n## BUDGET AUTHORITY\n\nNone.\n\n## PROBLEM SOLVING\n\nPosition requires identifying scheduling conflicts, logistical challenges, and operational gaps and implementing appropriate solutions. Solutions are typically developed collaboratively and refined through feedback and program needs.\n\n## IMPACT OF DECISIONS\n\nDecisions directly impact the efficiency, organization, and successful execution of Future 2 programming. Errors are generally identifiable and correctable but may result in scheduling disruptions or operational inefficiencies.\n\n## COMMUNICATION/INTERACTIONS\n\nRegular interaction with administrators, teachers, staff, students, families, and community partners. Communication focuses on coordination, clarity, and alignment with Future 2 program expectations.\n\n## CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS\n\nBuilds and maintains strong relationships with staff, students, and families.
