G6 - Heian Diagnostics Operator - Holstein, IA

Essential Job Functions:

• Review outgoing DO’s hand-off and handle email correspondence


• Communicate with all Heian Operators and KVAL regarding tool changes/startup issues


• Generate Hardware pile reports, identify doors to be processed and deliver to DET Outfeed


• Assist all Heian area operators when necessary


• Conduct tooling changes/adjustments as needed on all Heian machines


• Clean tool holder in tooling room


• Setup bit in tooling room


• Manage hour-by-hour “white boards” with operators


• Complete various paperwork, charts, and spreadsheets


• Assist operators with troubleshooting


• Complete shut-down activities


• All other tasks assigned by Department Manager or Department Lead

Position Requirements

• Participate in daily production meetings


• Complete all LMS training as assigned


• Complete 5S checklist


• Follow SOP/SPL in each area


• All team members are expected to adhere to VT’s Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.


• All team members are expected to follow the Code of Conduct to the highest standards as well as to adhere to the Attendance Policy of VT Industries.

Qualifications

• Understand both English and metric lineal measurements


• Excellent math skills


• Excellent communication skills


• Excellent mechanical skills


• Intermediate computer skills


• Knowledgeable about door types


• May need to handle hazardous material and take appropriate training to do so
