 As the Activities Team Leader in the Gadsden Glen, you will champion the development and execution of vibrant, life-enriching activities for our residents. You will guide a dedicated team, ensuring that each program nurtures physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Your leadership will foster a positive, collaborative environment where creativity and excellence thrive. 

A Typical Day:

• Lead, mentor, and support the Activities Coordinators.
• Plan and oversee a diverse calendar of activities that meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate team members.
• Collaborate closely with nursing, dietary, and administration to deliver holistic care.
• Support residents and families during transitions, including consultation on cable, internet, and phone services.
• Represent the Activities Team in key meetings and lead quality initiatives (QAPI).
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and engagement.
• Manage the BGLife directory for Gadsden Glen.

Requirements

What We Need In A Candidate:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and implementing activities for older adults. 
• High School diploma required; advanced studies in geriatrics or a related field preferred.
• Activity Director Certification highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to adapt to new programs.
