We’re looking for a driven, customer-focused Garage Door Technician to join our growing team in Kansas City, KS. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or mechanically inclined and ready to learn, we’ll provide the training, tools, and support you need to succeed.

🔨 What You’ll Do

• 
  

  Install, repair, and maintain residential, commercial, and industrial garage doors and openers.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform thorough inspections to ensure top-quality workmanship and safety standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Use documentation (notes, diagrams, photos) to streamline future work.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow OSHA safety standards and uphold a safe work environment for you and your team.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide excellent service with a friendly, professional attitude.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify customer needs and recommend solutions or product upgrades.

  
  


• 
  

  Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

  Take on additional duties as needed — we're all in this together!

  
  

🧰 What You Bring

• 
  

  Valid driver's license with clean MVR.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift 75+ lbs, use basic hand tools, and climb ladders.

  
  


• 
  

  Mechanical aptitude; garage door experience is a plus, especially with:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Sectional doors, rolling steel, fire doors, dock equipment, etc.

    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and jobsite safety protocols.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

  Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Positive attitude, adaptability, and customer-first mindset.

  
  


• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent.
