Principle Purpose of Job

Maintain grounds and flowers of entire Ranch property by performing the following duties. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cutting lawns and native grasses by operating a power mower and weed whacker.
• Trim edges, and weeds around walks, flower beds and walls
• Pruning of all flowers, shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches or twigs.
• Sprays lawn, shrubs and trees with fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides.
• Rakes and bags leaves and other debris.
• Cleans grounds and removes litter.
• Plants grass, flowers, trees and shrubs.
• Waters lawns, shrubs, trees, flower pots, baskets and beds.
• Rototills flower beds.
• Ensures plant identification and health.

Requirements

· Previous landscaping or gardening experience preferred.

· Valid Driver's License & clean driving record required.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Familiarity with horticultural tools and equipment.

· Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions.

Compensation Description:

$18.00/hr Competitive pay commensurate with education and experience.

Due to the nature of our 24-hour operation, there is no guaranteed work schedule. Managers will try to accommodate specific schedule requests, but they are never guaranteed if business volume prohibits.
