Job title: Gardeners

Job location: Central Alabama veterans’ healthcare system (CAVHCS), Montgomery and Tuskegee, Al.

Type of job: full-time job

Schedule: 5 days a week for 8 hours each day for a total of 40 hours per week

Duties:

• Use blowers to clean parking lots, sidewalks, and entrances.
• Dispose of trash on outdoor trash cans
• Assist with Weed eating as needed.
• Install pine straw and/or mulch and prepare flower beds.
• Pickup leaves from all exterior surfaces
• Cut grass using push lawn mowers.
• Trim hedges and shrubbery
• Plant flowers as needed.
• Use hand and power tools common to trade.

Qualifications:

The employee must:

• Have at least 3 years documented experience in gardening.
• Be able to work in noisy environments.
