Position Highlights


HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join an established hospital-based gastroenterology program serving a welcoming community in southern Oregon.


This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, experienced clinical and surgical support, competitive compensation, and the ability to deliver comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology care within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.


Practice Details



  • Full-time employed position

  • Hospital-based Gastroenterology opportunity

  • Flexible schedule designed around physician and program needs

  • Join an established team of three physicians and two advanced practice providers

  • Practice within a 174-bed community hospital and Level III Trauma Center

  • Serve a regional population of more than 110,000 residents

  • Experienced clinical and surgical support staff

  • Collegial, team-oriented practice environment

  • No travel required


Clinical Opportunity



  • Provide inpatient general Gastroenterology services

  • Diagnose and manage complex gastrointestinal conditions

  • Perform inpatient consultations and endoscopic procedures

  • Opportunity to perform ERCP for qualified physicians

  • Collaborate closely with medical, surgical, and advanced practice colleagues

  • Support the continued growth and advancement of the Gastroenterology service line

  • Opportunity for ancillary income through participation in outpatient surgery management

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care


Compensation & Benefits



  • Base Salary: $527,954 – $627,368

  • Sign-on bonus available

Qualifications



  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship

  • Oregon medical license or ability to obtain

  • DEA certification or ability to obtain

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
