The Florida-based corporation has production and shipping operations in Florida, California, Arizona, Michigan and Georgia with additional domestic and international locations.

Duda Farm Fresh Foods, is currently looking for a Gate Guard to join our Security team in Belle Glade, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deterring unauthorized entry into Housing and Facility areas. This position has an important role in communicating any unusual occurrences to management and informing when authorized visitors have arrive. The Gate Guard also keeps a log of visitors entering the property and directs them to the appropriate area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while directing visitors, vendors, suppliers to proper location sites within the Duda property.
• Understand and give basic oral directions in English and Spanish.
• Report and/or document any unusual occurrences to supervisor; inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Contact law enforcement, fire department, EMS, and other emergency agencies when necessary. Follow emergency and visitor protocol as provided.
• Maintain professional communication and appearance.
• Manage schedule, be punctual, and willingness to fill in when no one is available.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area every shift.
• Uniform provided and must be worn at all times while scheduled.
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient communication skills; Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Bi-lingual Spanish is required.
• Active listening skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
