Are you an experienced Foreman in the construction industry who is eager to thrive in a respected and dynamic organization? Do you have a passion for building high-end custom homes? Louis Ptak Construction is seeking a Foreman for our General Contracting team.

What you get to own:

• Layout, oversee and direct carpentry team on high-quality installations while continuing to perform “bags on” carpentry work.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) and Site Super (SS) to ensure schedule, cost, and production are on track/budget.
• Inspects work in progress to ensure workmanship conforms to approved construction documentation, schedule, and quality standards.
• Attends coordination and production meetings with the PM and/or SS to address potential schedule and quality issues.
• Identifies conflicts between as-built conditions and construction documentation. Produces RFI’s when necessary.
• Directly responsible for managing project-specific health and safety plan.
• Conducts weekly on-site safety meetings.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of Foreman experience in the construction industry.
• Expertise in high-end carpentry techniques and installation standards.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including submitting detailed RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Proficiency in basic computer applications like email and Dropbox—preferred knowledge of tools such as PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
• Exceptional customer service skills and independent decision-making ability.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods and OSHA regulations.
