GCSS-Army Operator Maintenance

Manages data input for maintenance program by keeping and organizing the Global Combat Support System – Army 
(GCSS-Army) operations and inventories of vehicles, equipment, tools. Utilizes GCSS-Army as a system of record, inputs various transaction  codes (T-Codes) to such function as print Department of the Army (DA) Form 5988-E (Equipment Maintenance and Inspection Worksheet), process dispatch, input fault, open work orders, track services, correct 
return/usage mileage, fuel, oil and many other maintenance related  tasks. Requires Plant Maintenance 40hr course or GCSS-Army Training and Certification System (GTRAC). Operates a remote console to interact with the main GCSS-Army services to process data relating to parts  received on work orders to appropriate storage locations. Consults GCSS Army operating instruction and determines appropriate action. Identifies,  resolves, and adapts common operating problems and procedures. Chooses or devises course of action from several alternatives or options within the GCSS-Army system. Requires Plant Maintenance 40hr course or GCSS-Army Training and Certification System (GTRAC). Requires indepth knowledge of Army Maintenance processes, to include service scheduling, dispatching, warranty repairs and deadlining equipment.
