LG Chem is actively seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated General Affairs & Lab Technician to join our Customer Solutions team in Ravenna, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, managing inventory and handling general administrative tasks. Candidates bilingual in Korean highly preferred to communicate HQ in Korea and access Korean documents.

What You’ll Be Doing

Essential Functions (Principal assignments include but are not limited to):

• Provide general administrative tasks, including managing recurring payments and office supplies.
• Manage inventory of reagents and supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all laboratory materials.
• Assistance in Laboratory Safety Improvement Activities
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: What We’re Looking For

Education:  Students must be currently enrolled in their Senior year pursuing degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related fields.

Requirements:

• Interest in pursuing a Chemical Science or Engineering career.
• Understanding of laboratory safety and protocols is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams.
• Bilingual Korean highly preferred to communicate with HQ in Korea and access Korean documents.

• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation.
• Ability to collaborate across business functions and work as part of a team.
