Job description

At Fireplace & Chimney Authority, we take pride in delivering top-notch service in the field of gas fireplace maintenance and installation. As a leading provider in the industry, we are committed to providing our customers with reliable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs for gas fireplaces.

Replace or repair faulty components, including gas valves, ignition systems, thermocouples, and thermopiles.

Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of gas fireplaces to ensure efficient operation and prolong their lifespan.

Install new gas fireplaces in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes.

Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot complex fireplace issues and find effective solutions.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining repair options, and offering maintenance tips.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

Obtain NFI Certification within one (1) calendar year.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as an Appliance Technician.

Basic knowledge of gas fireplace systems, components, and operation.

Familiarity with electrical and gas systems and the ability to troubleshoot related issues.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Other stores at the time were not customer friendly, clean, or modern. This problem sparked the idea for Fireplace and Chimney Authority as we experience it today.

Today our two locations are not only the most customer centric in the industry, our unwavering commitment to offering an ultra-extensive experience is second to none. Our knowledgeable team of industry experts takes every customer from the beginning design stages to purchase and installation with confidence and ease. However, our value does not end after purchase.
