Worldwide Professional Solutions is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated General Construction Superintendent to join our growing team in Wilton, Connecticut for a large-scale, complex, retrofit manufacturing construction project.
The General Construction Superintendent will oversee a complex retrofit project in a fully operational, high-tech manufacturing facility. This project supports a global leader in the semiconductor industry. This is a long-term opportunity to provide Construction Management services across their organization, extending beyond this single project. We are looking for a strong leader who thrives in challenging environments, excels at coordinating trades in live facilities, and has a proven track record of delivering results safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day field operations for retrofit and expansion projects in an active manufacturing facility
- Manage multiple subcontractors and trades, ensuring work is sequenced to minimize disruption to production
- Lead daily coordination meetings and ensure alignment with safety, quality, and schedule objectives
- Monitor project progress, resolve field conflicts, and escalate issues as needed
- Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, and facility stakeholders
- Track productivity, maintain detailed daily reports, and ensure accurate documentation of work performed
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role
- Proven expertise in retrofit and renovation work within live/operational facilities
- Strong understanding of general construction trades, sequencing, and safety requirements
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Demonstrated success leading complex projects in technically advanced industries such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or advanced manufacturing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project
- OSHA 30 certification preferred

$130,000 - $160,000 a year
*Relocation package and per-diem may be available for outstanding candidates*
