se diagnostic devices such as x-rays, laboratory tests, and other procedures; perform dental examinations, administer medications and anesthetics, and prescribe medications, including controlled substances (drugs); meet with patients and advise them on their general dental and oral health; treat caries, diagnose various prosthetics needs, and perform necessary procedures.
