The General Foreman will be responsible for the 24/7 operation of the crews in their respective area and participate in projects in other areas. The successful candidate will be accountable for Environmental, Health, and Safety results, productivity improvements, employee development, maximizing the value of diversity, and customer delivery through implementation of Lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen, Daily Management, TPM, 5S, Problem Solving, etc. He/she They will ensure consistent implementation and execution of policies and systems in order to guarantee customer (internal and external) expectations are met at the lowest cost and always with safety at the forefront of every activity. The Area Coordinator will work within Department Lead Teams and with peers in other departments to assure overall plant success. The Area Coordinator will work to ensure the execution of any of the financial goals and expectations set for each respective year. The Area Coordinator This individual will be responsible for planning and sometimes leading Kaizens, TPM, and safety events in his/her their areas. He/she They will be responsible for coaching and counseling front-line supervisors and any other staff personnel in his/her Pack Ship area or as assigned.

This is a development position for a future superintendent where a BS Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or other 4 year technical degree (EET or MET) may be required
