POSITION SUMMARY:

Inspection and transfer of finished product into proper product containers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Assists in line setup for daily runs.

· Transfers finished product and/or inspected rework product into secondary and primary containers in the proper number and manner.

· Verify that secondary and primary containers are coded by customer specifications.

· Remove any empty cartons or defected products from line flow.

· Comply with all safety regulations.

· Reports all accidents/injuries and unsafe conditions to shift lead or supervisor.

· Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures.

· Responsible for food safety and quality

· Maintain annual training in Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Defense, PPE, and OSHA regulated programs.

· Performs all other related work as assigned.

· Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of the process.

· Assist in cleaning up and shutdown of shit.

Required Experience:

· Must be able to work with limited supervision.

· Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to independently, prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Problem solving and decision-making skills.

· Must work well independently and with a team.

· Displays self-motivation and punctuality.

· Must be knowledgeable in GMPs’, HACCP, SOP’s, sanitation practices, & Product Trace & Recovery pertaining to the food industry.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Education:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

· or up to one-month related experience or training.

· or equivalent combination of education and experience.
