General Labor - Grounds & Property Maintenance

Performs a variety of low-skilled and unskilled labor assisting with cleaning and maintaining public and/or private properties

Cleans city lots by removing debris and litter

Assists with light preservation and cleaning of city buildings

Loads and unloads tools and equipment onto trucks as needed

Cuts grass and removes litter using zero turns, mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other lawn equipment

Performs landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming trees, and edging

Assists with painting and other general maintenance tasks as assigned

Lifts and moves outdoor debris and materials

Performs other duties as assigned

Maintains regular, reliable, and punctual attendance

Ability to learn to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment

Ability to perform physical/manual labor in outdoor environments

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
