Are you a self-starter with the ability to learn new processes and concepts quickly? The successful candidate posses the ability to provide excellent customer while working in a fast-paced environment.

The incumbent will be responsible for sorting different types of metals using manual processes under the supervision of the site manager.

• Sort the different metals according to their characteristics.
• Prepare the material to meet the quality criteria (e.g., aluminum cutting)
• Work with different types of machinery, (Forklift)
• Ensure that the premises always remain clean.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of customer vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Attract the right type of metal to the metals brought by the customer.
• Participate in shipping tasks.
• Assist with torch cutting as needed.
• Perform all other related duties.

• ON-SITE TRAINING
• Minimum 1 year experience as a laborer.
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
• Knowledge of metals (an asset).
• Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, plugs, helmets, gloves, etc.)

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm +  every other Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Full-time, permanent position.
• Work inside and outside.
