General Laborer

We are looking to hire General Laborers to join our team and grow with us as the company expands! As a General Laborer you would assist in one of the many different aspects of our industry such as preparation of asphalt for roads and parking lots, site development. and more. The responsibilities of this position include using rollers and plate compactors, preparing the pavement saw, sweeping, raking and cleaning the area at the end of the day

To ensure success as a General Laborer, you should be able to work long hours in all weather conditions. Laborers are sometimes required to work over weekends, on public holidays, and at night.

Responsibilities:

• Offloading the truck and gathering tools for the day.

• Transporting rakes and shovels

• Moving the pavement saw to the transverse joint.

• Maintaining cleanliness and packing equipment away at the end of the day.

Laborer Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a laborer, a plus if you have experience working in the asphalt, site development or forestry fields

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to work on weekends, public holidays, and at night.

• Ability to travel to wherever the job is needed.

• Ability to work for long hours in all weather conditions.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Excellent communication and observation skills.

OSHA10 & Mass DOT Medical Card Required. Must be completed prior to starting work.  Earn up to $75 for work on prevailing wage jobs.

Compensation is dependent on your skill level.
