ABOUT CASCADE:

Cascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives. Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County.

We are looking for a General Laborer to join our Facilities Team! You will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to facility maintenance, grounds work and assist in facility projects.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

PAY SCALE:

$19.37 - $23.61 DOE

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE:

• Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check. A national background check may be required if you haven’t lived in WA State consecutively the last three years.


• Must have basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.


• Must be proficient with basic maintenance tools, and power tools.


• Must be able to represent the Agency in a positive and professional manner.


• Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.


• Must comply with agency policies and procedures.


• Must have a valid driver’s license.


• Must have satisfactory driving record.


• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.


• Must be willing to use personal vehicle as needed. Mileage will be reimbursed.


• Must be able to gain access to all types of buildings and residences regardless of the structures’ handicapped accessibility or lack thereof.


• Must maintain current phone number and mailing address on file with the Human Resources Department.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to access all areas of buildings and grounds to identify issues and plan repairs or maintenance.


• Must be physically able to perform job functions as assigned.


• Must be able to work from a ladder, up to 30 feet.


• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping.


• Reaching above head, bending, pulling, and pushing.


• Some job functions and projects may include lifting heavy objects above shoulders or head.


• Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds at a time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Facility and grounds maintenance for all Cascade locations including buildings, landscaping, parking lots, other structures, and common areas.


• Moving furniture, building furniture.


• Assist in facility projects at the direction of assigned supervisor.


• Responds to requests for repairs on the first working day following receipt of request, on a priority basis.


• Maintain agency vehicles including service and cleaning.


• Must always work in a safe and efficient manner to prevent injury to self or others.


• Never leave work area unsafe unless the area is secured to prevent access by others.


• Never leave building unsecured.
