Job Description - General Laborer

PEKO is a full-service, debt-free, privately-owned contract manufacturer with over 50 years embedded in the Rochester, NY community. In collaboration with our valued business partners, we deliver new product development (NPI) strategies for product commercialization and provide solutions in the medical, industrial, defense, and renewable energy industries. The Opportunity: General Laborer
Your Role: The General Laborer will assist in a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. This role will work under the close direction of the Department Manager to perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials etc. They will learn to use a variety of tools and machines on the shop floor.
Reports To: Department Manager
What We’re Looking For:

Attention to detail
Exhibits safe work habits
Quality focused
Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Ability to read blueprints a plus.
