General Laborer

We are a shop manufacturing company in New Waverly, TX. We are looking for efficient and dependable laborers for busy shop manufacturing environment. Applicants should have access to reliable transportation. Day or Night shifts. The ideal candidates will be working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely.

Typical responsibilities will include:

• Lifts light to moderate loads

• General organizing and clean-up

• Job site preparation

• Sets up and operates various machinery

• Performs setup and cleanup tasks at job site

• Provides general labor support

• Performs general maintenance of equipment

• Supports various assigned tasks

• Performs other duties as required

• Maintains a safe operation and practices good housekeeping

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to follow directions

• Knowledge of hand tools helpful

• Safety mind set

• Desire to do a quality job

• Ability to work well with others

• Must be available to work multi-shifts

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Ability to understand and communicate information

• High school diploma/GED (preferred)

• Drive forklift, use cranes, saws, planers, grinders, and various manufacturing equipment (preferred)

Physical Demands

• Reach with hands and arms

• Stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, push, and pull

• Talk, hear, close and distance vision

• Lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

• Stand 70% day

• Walk 30% day
