The General Laborer position at Bonfe Underground is dedicated to assisting the Excavation crew with various labor tasks to ensure efficient project completion. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe work environment and facilitating effective communication within the team. The General Laborer will report directly to the Excavation Supervisor and will play a crucial role in supporting daily excavation operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Excavation crew with manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and operating basic hand tools and machinery as directed.


• Operate excavation equipment and tools, including jetters and camera inspection systems.


• Maintain high standards of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.


• Support the team in organizing and preparing the worksite to ensure that it is ready for necessary excavation activities.


• Participate in regular 1:1 and L10 meetings with team members to foster open communication and address any challenges.


• Collaborate with the Excavation Supervisor to promptly address any issues or concerns that arise during the course of work to prevent delays.


• Help maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly and are in good working condition.

What You Bring:

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.


• Valid CDL – no exceptions.


• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.


• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
