General Laborer needed for Foundry

Westaff is hiring General Laborers for Metalwork manufacturer  in Winsted, CT!

Pay: $17.00/hour + 20% shift differential ($20.40/hour on 2nd shift)

Schedule:

• Training: 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)


• Permanent Role: 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) starting April 1

You’ll be supporting molding, floor production, and eventually furnace operations (training provided).

This is a physically demanding, hands-on job in a fast-paced foundry environment. If you’re dependable, take direction well, and want to work with a close-knit team, this could be a great opportunity for you!

Foundry / General Laborer Requirements:

• MUST speak Spanish (the entire team communicates in Spanish)


• MUST agree to work 2nd shift starting April 1


• Ability to follow directions closely and stay alert


• Comfortable working in a high-risk industrial environment


• Able to handle heavy, physical work and be on your feet all day


• Basic warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful


• Training is provided!
