General Laborer, Reefer

Description

The General Laborer for the Reefer Department will primarily support the operations by ensuring the reefer containers are working properly and tracking temperatures as needed. 

Job Duties:

• Power washing containers
• Fueling equipment
• Perform equipment checks for generator sets
• Run safety pre checks for all equipment before use
• Operate machinery such as forklift and aerial lifts
• Properly documenting work performed as instructed
• Perform other tasks in the yard supporting different departments

Requirements

Qualifications:  

• High School diploma or GED required
• Organizational skills
• Effective verbal and non verbal communication
• Time management
• Accurately follows instructions
• Experience operating software including CMMS and Microsoft office product
• Ability to frequently lift over 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to push and pull up to 80 pounds occasionally 
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders
