General Labor (Wrapper)

ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions is seeking a General Labor candidate that will be promoted into a Wrapper position after a 90-day introductory period and training in our Production Department. This role will involve general labor duties supporting the wrapping and packaging operations.

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting finished goods for defects, appearance, dimensions, and customer specifications
• Wrapping, capping, plugging, and palletizing finished goods per customer requirements
• Securing and preparing cores for use in coring operations
• Reviewing and ensuring accurate labeling on rolls and pallets
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, following good housekeeping practices
• Operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely to minimize damage
• Transporting raw materials from storage to production areas as required
• Gathering and properly handling waste and scrap materials
• Following all safety procedures and policies, including hazardous waste management protocols

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Basic math and reading skills to understand instructions and specifications
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Forklift operating experience (preferred)
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
